Book Recommendations

There are several ways to use The Book Explorer to get new book recommendations. The best way is to sign up and become a member. After you join you'll be able to add your favorite books or even your entire book collection. Using the ratings you enter for the books you've read you'll get your own personalized book recommendations. It's the only way to get truly personalized recommendations. In addition to receiving new book suggestions, you'll have an online record of what books you've read and be able to add your comments for others to see. Membership is completely free and only takes a moment to get started.

Don't have the time to become a member? Don't worry there are other great ways to get book recommendations. Have a favorite book or author? Simply enter the title or author's name in the search box at the top of each page. Most of our books and authors will lead you to similar recommendations based on what our members have enjoyed reading.

You can also get recommendations based on a particular genre. On the left side of every page there is a listing of general fiction and non-fiction categories. Each category is then broken down further into subcategories. Every genre and subgenre page will list related books ordered by recommendation. The top book in each category will be the one with the highest recommendation.
